Founder contribution
An additional ~R19,500/month of professional founder time is contributed in kind during the pilot stage.
This maintains approximately three founder-days of leadership and organisational capacity per week while reducing the pilot's cash requirement.
Field work needs an organisation behind it.
The visible work happens beside the river — people, tools, clean-ups, waste removal and restoration.
Behind that work are the systems that make it possible: planning, fundraising, partnerships, logistics, marketing, financial oversight, reporting, technology and management.
Sustainable field work needs both direct programme resources and the organisational capacity to plan, fund, manage, measure and improve it.
